1. Information We Collect

When you use Duelify, we may collect the following types of information:

• Phone number — collected via SMS OTP for organizer verification. Used solely to authenticate you as a tournament organizer.
• Tournament data — participant names, ratings, match results, and tournament records you create within the app.
• Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for performance monitoring.
• Usage data — features used, screens viewed, and interactions within the app to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Duelify service.
• Verify your identity as a tournament organizer via SMS OTP.
• Generate and store tournament brackets, player profiles, and match history.
• Enable QR-based bracket sharing with other users.
• Improve and develop new features based on usage patterns.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Organizer Verification

Duelify uses phone number verification (SMS OTP) to authenticate tournament organizers. Your phone number is stored as the organizer identifier for each tournament you create. It is not shared with participants, other clubs, or third parties. Verification is required once per tournament.

4. Participant Data

When you add participant names to a tournament, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to enter and process that information. Participant names entered into Duelify are stored securely and used solely for tournament organization purposes within your account.

When you share a bracket via QR code, participant names and match results become accessible to anyone with the share link. You are responsible for informing participants that their names may appear in shared brackets.

5. VKey™ AI Features

Duelify uses VKey™, our AI-powered name extraction feature. When you photograph a signup sheet or player list, the image is processed by our AI service to extract participant names. Images are processed in real time and are not stored after name extraction is complete.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your tournament data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service. We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security, encrypted connections, and access controls to protect your data.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating Duelify (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics).
• When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Prime Solutions or others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users.

8. Federation Data

Duelify may query third-party sports federation databases to retrieve player ratings. This lookup uses only the player name you provide. We do not store federation membership data beyond the current session.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@primesolutions.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Duelify is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at duelify.ai/privacy with a revised effective date. Continued use of Duelify following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
